I was surprise to learn that a lot of non-Christian in Singapore celebrated Chrismas with their family. They bought gifts and prepared special lunch / dinner for this special day.
However it is also surprising that quite a number of them did not know the meaning of Christmas itself. A colleague of mine was asking if this celebration is to recall the birth of Jesus Christ.
So it is called CHRIST-mas
